Stop the Nuclear Nightmare

Join CAAT Scotland at Faslane to stand up against the nuclear nightmare in Scotland and let politicians running for elected office in Holyrood that Scotland rejects these horrific weapons.

CAAT Scotland will be going to Faslane on Saturday 14th March from 1:00pm – 3:00pm to support the Scottish CND demonstration ‘Stop the Nuclear Nightmare’ ahead of the Scottish national elections in May at HMNB Clyde, North Gate, Helensburgh, G84 8HL

Nuclear weapons are a threat to Scotland and the whole world. Far from keeping us safe, they put a target on our backs, only an hour from our most populous city. Poor conditions at the nuclear weapons facilities on Scotland’s west coast have caused radioactive risks and shocking incidents of pollution. Nuclear convoys carry these dangerous and toxic weapons up and down our roads, often through towns and cities. And further, the threat of nuclear omnicide raises international tensions and poses the greatest risk to humanity as a whole.
We must urgently stand up against this nuclear nightmare in Scotland and send a message to politicians running for elected office in Holyrood that Scotland rejects these horrific weapons based on our coasts.
