Earlier this month, London CAAT hosted their latest Merchants of Death Tour, a 2 mile walking tour visiting locations linked to the arms trade in London.
They say, “We took an engaged and intrigued group of 30 people around some of the sinister sites of London and introduced them to some of the evils done by the organisations at these sites. We visited Boeing, Defence and Security Exports at the Ministry of Defence, BAE Systems and Palantir. These organisations are complicit in Israel’s genocide, a bombing that killed over 180 children in Iran and Saudi Arabia’s brutal war on Yemen. We put up blue plaques to highlight some of their reprehensible behaviour. It was an inspiring if sobering two and a half hours that left attendees committed to continuing to oppose the arms trade.”
They also treated the attendees and passers by, to a piece of street theatre, “Death and the Arms Trade”: where Death appreciates the work of the arms trade but even they find the cold calculating nature of the business chilling. Photos below!
