UK presence: The UK’s arms sales unit (DIT DSE) attended IDEX 2019, as did Department for International Trade “MEAP” (Middle East, Afghanistan & Pakistan) which “had a great chance meeting with [UK] #Defence and #Security companies interested in doing #Business in #Iraq”. Stuart Andrew, UK Minister for Defence Procurement, promoted “UK defence capabilities and innovation” at the event, and there was a UK pavilion.
