US-based Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is listed by SIPRI as the world’s 12th largest arms company, with 95% of its sales being military.

HII builds and maintains ships for the US navy. It has two main shipbuilding divisions: Newport News and Ingalls which have, it claims “built more ships in more ship classes than any other U.S. naval shipbuilder.”
