Military Industries Corporation (MIC) is a Saudi company based in Riyadh. It has existed since 1953, when it opened an “Ammunition Factory”.
It states that its mission is to “satisfy the needs of the military sector and to contribute to developing the nation’s military base through technology transfer.”
In 2016 MIC opened a large new munitions factory in the city of Al-Kharj near Riyadh, “created with a license and help in construction” from South African company Rheinmetall Denel (Saudi Press Agency, 27.3.2016)
