US-based Textron is listed by SIPRI as being the world’s 34th largest arms company, with military equipment comprising 30% of its sales.

Textron is organized into six businesses: “Bell Helicopter, Textron Aviation, Textron e-Aviation, Industrial, Textron Systems and Finance.”

Its military products include drones, helicopters, space systems, missiles, armoured vehicles and nuclear weapons. The company stated in 2015 that 12,000 of its Commando armoured vehicles had been delivered to 35 countries. The company has consistently provided re-entry vehicles for the US’s nuclear-warhead carrying Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs), and has been selected to produce the re-entry vehicle for the next generation LGM-35A Sentinel ICBM as well.

The Washington Post reported that Textron was the last US company to build cluster bombs, stopping only in 2016.
