Glasgow Sank UDT!

The Undersea Defence Technology (UDT) arms fair took place at SEC Glasgow at the end of June. It was met by a large, boisterous protest, which made it very clear that weapons trading should not be happening in Glasgow, or anywhere! As a result, Glasgow Council took the decision to no longer support arms fairs.

20 Years of Edinburgh CAAT

As Edinburgh CAAT group celebrates it’s 20th birthday, long-term group member David Turner reflects on 20 years of campaigning against the arms trade in Scotland. In 1995 a group of Campaign Against Arms Trade supporters came together for an inaugural meeting, and the Edinburgh CAAT group was formed- the first CAAT group in Scotland.

CAAT would not exist without its supporters. Each new supporter helps us strengthen our call for an end to the international arms trade.
