Arms Companies
This year’s International Military Helicopter Conference will feature weapons companies including Airbus, Leonardo, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and Rolls Royce, and conference sponsors include Northrop Grumman, Thales and QinetiQ. Leonardo, Lockheed Martin, Rolls Royce, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman are all F-35 component producers across the UK. CAAT has recently called for the UK to leave the F-35 Fighter Jet programme. F-35 “genocide jets” are used extensively by Israel to bomb Gaza, and were part of recent American attacks on Venezuelan sovereignty.
Airbus is the lead partner in the Eurofighter Typhoon combat aircraft programme, in a consortium that also includes BAE Systems and Leonardo. Typhoon aircrafts have been used by British air forces in attacks on Libya, Syria and Iraq, and have been key to Saudi Arabia bombing Yemen. In October 2025, the UK government announced that Turkey would be purchasing 20 Typhoon jets from the UK for a staggering £8 billion, a sale which aptly demonstrates the mega profits arms dealers make from global bloodshed.
Anduril will also feature prominently at IMH. Anduril is a US-based technology company deeply involved in surveillance, drone warfare and AI-assisted weaponry. The British government continues to deepen its ties with the controversial company, backed by Palantir founder Peter Thiel and with connections to American right-wing political circles. The UK has issued at least £62 million in contracts to Anduril since 2021, and Anduril is looking to establish its first UK based weapons factory, with aims for it to be the hub of Anduril’s production across the European continent.
Venue
The 25th annual International Military Helicopter Conference will be taking place from the 24th to 26th of February 2026 at Novotel London West, which is part of Accor Group. Accor Group’s Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Charter highlights its supposed commitment to the community and the planet. By hosting the International Military Helicopter Conference, an arms fair fuelling genocides, warfare and militarised borders around the world, Novotel London West is contradicting its stated commitment to ethical and corporate social responsibility.
